You need to set up masquerading in your sendmail.cf file.

Look for a line starting DM in the file and change it to something like:

DMfishbot.free-online.co.uk

If you use a SUSE setup too for sendmail look for the word masquerading.
I can't help you with that though as I always generate sendmail.cf from a
hand-edited sendmail.mc file.
