I've downloaded and tested the last boot-floppies a couple of
weeks ago. They work nicely, and even have DHCP support built-in. It's
nice, because you can basically download even more during the
installation (the base system, for instance no longer needs to be in the
CD-rom, hard drive and all that). So, you get your disk count down to 4
floppies if you do a network install.
As for the task-lists, well, they're still a bit patchy, I quite
liked the lists you had in the good ol' days (scientific workstation),
with all their flaws (for some reason, it installed emacs19, xemacs, and
vi because it needed an editor).
But if you have a network connection, upgrading the system is
_so_ easy...
