Most distributions come with a program bzip2 (and associated bunzip2 - but 
technically its the same program). Just run:
	bunzip2 <file>
or
	bzip2 -d <file>

If you don't seem to have it and can't find it on your dist, then freshmeat 
(www.freshmeat.net) should help you find it. Doing a quick search myself, its 
(bzip2) homepage is: http://sourceware.cygnus.com/bzip2/
