I used this yesterday, and found the following ports were open
to all:

21 - FTP

23 - Telnet

25 - SMTP

79 - Finger

80 - HTTP

110 - POP3

113 - Ident

Also, the remaining ports were showing closed, rather than stealth. It
looks like the situation may improve if I a) remove some services I never
use (ftp, pop, http etc) and b) set up a firewall.

Suggestions on how this is achieved (I have the HOWTO, but it is nigh on
2000 pages of plain text)
