I've got one of these on a shelf downstairs in the bottom of the
house. Very nice with SuSE Linux or any other distribution. The
Tatung monitors should work very well with the X-server. Although,
there were one or two of them that didn't like Linux at all.

Main thing is that if you just happen to stick your knee into the off
switch or if you do have a power cut then the system just comes back
up in a few seconds. For myself this is proving to be something of a
bonus. Specially on a laptop where the battery could just shut down
without warning. This always happens to me when I'm writing a letter
or playing a computer game. The old idea of the file system just
falling apart without warning has now been removed. Further modules
are being developed for Reiser FS that will make it even more useful.
