Just to satisfy my own curiosity I've loaded KDE 1.92 into my notebook
from the SuSE 7.0 CDs. Works fine. Didn't crash. Think I'll leave
it there and upgrade to KDE2.1
Oh yes, anyone know what this might be about ? SuSE 7.0 without
X-windows installed..
When I try to start midnight commander or links which is a text based
browser that makes lynx look a bit shady or rough I get...
"mc: error in loading shared libraries: liggpm.so.1: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory".
The other one is that in my haste to cut down on installed
applications I've removed an RPM that loads the UK keymap. Under YaST
I get... Adjustments of installation > Select keymap > [in red] NO
KEYMAPS FOUND No loadable keymaps were found <Continue>
Any help greatly appreciated :)
Thanks
