I'll have a go. Since the last one I sent in I have radically altered
my own firewall script. I started out with the one that Martin wrote
for his Noether pages at......

The thing I've got now is a mix an match script based on ideas from
this list and the Open BSD and Linux Firewall books. It's looking
good and my internet connection has speeded up quite a bit. Robert
Ziegler's ideas are quite good for dialup connections. He spent
several years advising home users about Linux firewalls. So, most of
the stuff that isn't generally known is in his book.
I suppose that we will soon begin again with iptables and kernel 2.4
