I didn't know that - something else to play with on these cold winter

I know that now ! I think DNS is one of those things that, once the light
comes on in your head you kick yourself for not seing how easy it is.  You
can, of course, also make life remarkably complicated if you try hard :) As
for "glorified hosts", there's a perl script to convert hosts to zone files
(if only I could find it!), making life even easier.
