I got the impression that the default KDE2 install was that way for
all distros ? It is annoying to find that I have to logout of KDE 2.1
to use a black screen and keyboard.

Oh, I was having problems telling the difference :)) I had one of
them have a go at me last week. It was a belter.

Well, I have to admit that I don't like their stuff. So, I'd better
not say anything :)
