Hi

To cut a long story short I am, I hope, going to finally get broadband next 
week. Given that it is not certain that I can actually get ADSL where I live 
I don't want to invest in a firewall router until the engineer has been and I 
know the thing is going to work.

However I am going to have a free ADSL modem from BT and intend to use this 
with Suse software firewall until I can get the router. 

I use Suse 9.1 and am requesting any info on problems I am likely to encounter 
with the BT modem with Linux? A relationship which I have heard is not to 
clever.

Like everyone on the list I want the least amount of time offline so want to 
anticipate any problems.
