Questionable.  Under the Data Protection Act, I believe it's legal if
the employees are informed in advance.  Not sure what the European
Convention on Human Rights would have to say about it, though.

As an aside, the TUC is very much against this kind of employee
monitoring, and puts forward the (correct, IMHO) view that it has an
adverse effect on productivity.
