RE: [Sheflug] Optical mice

I have two favourites:
1) for my desk: Microsoft wheel mouse optical (sub £10 last time I looked),
2 buttons, clickable wheel, none of those extra buttons on the side to worry
about. I use this through an ebuyer KVM switch to xp/suse and NT with no
problems.
2) for my presentations and training: Gyromouse RF Wireless. Works on the
desk or "in the air" up to about 50ft from receiver (usb). I've got the
matching keyboard as well and it just works. The additional software for
controlling presentations or annotating over the screen doesn't work on
Linux but the freedom to control the PC whilst stood up us great. (sub £100)

I've tried these with Suse 8 and on (most of them), fedora and debian.

I've been lucky and not found one yet.

Chris Johnson
(No not that one, the other one!)
(running Fedora Core 3 now, 512MB PIII 600 (ish))
