Yes.  Have been a number of issues with Debian/Ubuntu 64-bit but the 
2.0 version of VirtualBox is claimed to have fixed the problems.  
Google for more info ?  I can't give you specific examples.

Anyway, looks as though it's more or less working so that's all that 
matters :)
