It is wrong. My apologies, but using vi in an xterm just isn't
good enough with no gpm around... My poor excuse anyway:

should work fine. Latest version is 2.5. Since I use it quite
often a couple of comments:
-Libraries are *excellent* You can find toolboxes for nearly everything.
-Graphical output is fine
-You can use all your legacy C/Fortran code from within it: you compile
it and generate a wrapper for it (dead easy), and you call your
functions from within scilab. Quite handy (and fast!)
-It generates fortran code of your scilab functions (similar to m-files
in matlab).
In a word... Top of the Pops! :)
