Re: Laptop question




The pentium, I would have thought. It's unlikely you'll be able to get X
running at all well on the 486, and 260Mb is a bit measly. As for the
link, well, parallel cables aren't a great deal and I can get you a pcmcia
network card from about 30 quid... I know it's all extras, but if you can
afford it you'll have a much better machine.
