LILO instalation

Hello dear linux people,
I can' t install a LILO boot   to use Win98&Linux on the same machine.
I try REDHAT 6.1 and SUSE 6.4 but dont works..install all patches but after
reboot I dont have lilo prompt...only win98 loading.
i think the problem is my hard drive(have 13GB) I see a warning when I try
lilo from the root prompt: No of  cylinders >1600
Anyone have a solution??
