The disk images on the CD really ought to work - they usually use the same
kernel. How about - you get a DOS boot disk from somewhere (I hear Caldera
do a Free Dos ;), and use loadlin? It ought to be on the Suse disk
somewhere. You can then boot dos using the floppy, and then boot the CD
using loadlin. You should then be in an upgradable Yast session :)

Just a tip - don't boot to Linux off your local install and upgrade from
there. You'll probably end up wrecking the whole thing. :(
