Yeah, I wasn't too sure on that one myself :-) I'll be waiting on a
harddrive being repaired anyhow, then use that as backup when I go
Reiser.

 Ah. What's the command? make zDisk vmlinuz-2.4.0-reiser for example? 
The only time I've ever made a boot disk is at install... what about
basic programs like mount/vi/ls etc?
