[Sheflug] C++ examples

hi,

i've recently been learning (i use this term loosly :-) C++ and am in need of 
some good examples of C++ code......

most of the software i have come accross is C.

the books i'm working from are fine but the examples are only to prove 
concepts...... the fact that 'dogs' have inherited attributes of the class 
'animals' is a bit simplistic even by my standards ;-)

if anyone can recommend some example software i'd much appreciate it.
