Sorry for the top quoting, but that's Outlook for ya...

Baz is correct with the pointers. You could either change the /etc/inittab
setting and change the -r to -t, or using YaST, go for System
Administration -> Change configuration file and look for the
CONSOLE_SHUTDOWN variable. This can be one of 'ignore', 'reboot' or 'halt'.
Set as required.

 Under RedHat, there is the following line in the /etc/inittab file. You
should find something similar on your SuSE system.
 You could change the last part to /sbin/halt -n for an immediate halt, or
change the arguements on the shutdown command (delete/change the -r switch).

# Trap CTRL-ALT-DELETE
ca::ctrlaltdel:/sbin/shutdown -t3 -r now

Sorry, but I don't use SuSE, so the best I can do is give pointers :-)
