OK, installed tcpdump and arpwatch on photon.

tcpdump -i eth0 -s 192.168.0.1 gives something along the lines of

[timestamp] > arp who has flux.localdomain tell photon.localdomain
[photon's MAC address]

repeatedly.

arp gives nothing.

Handy.
