This is a known problem, and has now been resolved. Problem with the
router which dealt with trans-atlantic connections or something. Says so
on the Service Status page (I am a dialup user, but hey, same service)

Erm, what Windose personality? I don't have one. Would they let me do it
myself ;-)

The dialup service has been a bit neglected since this all came about, so
I am tempted to switch now (probably what they intended)
