Weeeeellll, now. Got bored. Sorted most of it out. Broke a few things,
and now I need help. Again.

I've got all my data on both of my disks.

Both disks have an ext2 /boot partition, ReiserFS / and a largish swap
partition.

The drive that was the root disk is not booting...I've killed LILO
somehow. I've managed to get LILO onto the other disk, swap a few cables
around and boot it as /dev/hda (it is normally /dev/hdg) dunno how, but
it does boot.

The mkbootdisk command failled because it looks like my kernel image is
too big (~900k) to go on the disk.
Before I start recompiling a smaller kernel, and still finding I don't
know what I'm doing, how do I get LILO to write to the MBR of /dev/hde?

 I've configured /etc/lilo.conf and /etc/fstab to have /dev/hde1 as
/boot (ext2), /dev/hde5 as swap and /dev/hde6 as / (ReiserFS), however
LILO seems to just write to /dev/hda.

Currently I have the bootable flag set on /dev/hda1 (which works) and
/dev/hde1 (which doesn't)

 Help!

 Baz.
