Unfortunately not (that I know of). There are some great digital cards
out there - Project Hammerfall, for example, complete with Linux drivers
:) - but not any cheap ones. I'm a little worried by the term 'back up'
you use though - is it the case that you think you can keep the
minidiscs as copies in case you loose the mp3s? 'Fraid not, what's most
likely to happen is you'll get some high quality uncopyable minidiscs -
great for listening to, but SCMS (serial copy management software?)
means that you can't copy it again, at least digitally. But then, you're
not likely to have a minidisc player with optical out, so maybe this
doesn't worry you :)
