Hi All,

Thanks for helping - everyone who answered "set the default route" or 
something similar was quite right.

I'm not quite sure why Debian didn't at least suggest that I might 
want to configure a default route after a dial connect... After all, 
unless you _really_ enjoy the experience of dialing and connecting, 
but not actually routing any packets, then I'd have thought that it 
was kind of essential to add a default route when you dial in. Then 
again, perhaps that would be TOO EASY.
