Hi Peter,

I am coming to the opinion that Mandrake has a thing against Soundblasters.
I cannot get Mandrake 7.2 to work with my Soundblaster AWE64 Gold.
'HardDrake' will apparently set it up and plays sound samples at 8 and 16
bit saying it is configured correctly but, as soon as I try to shut down
HardDrake, I get a box full of error messages relating to midi etc. Also,
when I try to run a sound app. I get errors that it can't find /dsv/dsp or
that the audio output is already in use by something else - which it isn't.
Are your errors the same - perhaps we should contact Mandrake about this?
