i'm no expert on this but it looks like you don't have all the gcc packages
installed.... goto the mandrake ftp server and get all the gcc and x-server
development packages.

Has some one got Open Office 6.13 just in rmp format
good rpm package to install

i've treid to install open office on my mandrake 7.2 system and it broke it!
i think it's a mandrake issue as opposed to an open office one though! best
