i've checked it out and it's excellent... covers all the library functions.
i've read through a couple of examples and it's relatively clear.
they do, however, use the abstract oversimplified examples as do the many
books available. i've taught myself several languages in the past (none as
complex as C/C++ though) and have alway found that well presented and
commented code helps a great deal...... you can see how problems are solved
for real world situations.
i'm concentrating on console apps for now as the compexity of gui libs is a
bit much at the moment. most linux console apps seem to be in C, i'm sure
this is a more appropriate choice compaired with C++ but do you know of any
C++ applications that are not too complex that are non graphical?
